Self-Archiving Policy

RELART promotes open access and actively encourages authors to deposit their work in institutional, subject-based, national, and disciplinary repositories, personal websites, academic social networks, and other open access environments in order to enhance the visibility, accessibility, preservation, and dissemination of scientific output.

No embargo periods apply to any of the versions authorized for deposit.

Authors may deposit:

  • Preprint (Submitted Version): the version submitted for peer review, which may be shared at any time.
  • Postprint (Accepted Manuscript): the version accepted after the peer review process, which may be deposited immediately upon acceptance.
  • Published Version (Version of Record): the final version published by the journal, which may be deposited immediately after publication.

Once an article has been published in RELART, authors must:

  • Include the complete bibliographic citation of the published version.
  • Include the DOI and the permanent link to the article in the journal.
  • Clearly indicate that the work was published in RELART.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Any reuse or redistribution must comply with the terms of this license.
